Metapool
Providing NEAR holders with

Liquid funds
No lockup. If you stake with Meta Pool, you are able to avoid the unstaking period (52-65 hours) by leveraging stNEAR. So you are free to use your tokens anytime and anywhere.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

Improved Decentralization
Let's make NEAR more decentralized! Meta Pool distributes stake for low-fee, high-performance validators outside the most concentrated ones. You'll be helping to make the NEAR network more decentralized and censorship resistant.

Be part of the DAO
Meta Pool runs on Sputnik (NEAR native DAO platform). During the first weeks, stakers and liquidity providers will receive $META which is the governance token for the platform. Don't miss the big multipliers! Be part of Meta Pool!
Learn more.How it works
We make it easy to stake and unstake NEAR tokens
We distribute stake in low-fee, high-performance validators.
Process:
- Select the amount of NEAR to stake using Meta Pool liquid staking protocol
- In return, you receive liquid NEAR (stNEAR) increasing in value through the staking rewards
- As part of the platform every staker and liquidity provider gets $META governance tokens to participate in the DAO
- You are free to use your stNEAR in DeFi platforms anytime or swap back to NEAR

FAQ
Common Questions
-
What is Meta Pool?
Meta Pool is a liquid staking protocol built on NEAR. People stake their NEAR tokens with Meta Pool using automatic staking strategies and receive "staked NEAR" tokens they can use in the DeFi NEARverse or they can be swapped any time back to original NEAR tokens to unstake. For more information please refer to the Meta Pool Gitbook
-
What is liquid staking?
Liquid staking is an alternative to traditional staking: it allows users to stake any amount of NEAR and to effectively unstake their NEAR without the requirement of waiting 52 to 65 hours before NEAR token holders get their compounded rewards.
-
How long does it take to stake and unstake NEAR?
You can stake NEAR and/or unstake NEAR immediately. There is no waiting time with our liquid unstaking swap solution. You pay a swap fee that ranges between 0.3% and 3% depending on actual liquidity and the amount you want to liquid unstake. You can also chose to unstake by the old method, waiting 2-3 days but with no fee.
-
Are staking rewards staked automatically?
Staking income is compounded automatically into the staked NEAR token.
-
Are my NEAR tokens secure?
Yes, we distribute staked NEAR into several standard staking-pool, so staking with Meta Pool is as secure as native staking. When you transfer your tokens to be staked in Meta Pool, you will receive staked NEAR (stNEAR) tokens back in your wallet. These stNEAR tokens can be used to unstake and receive your NEAR tokens (with rewards).
-
What is the stNEAR token?
This contract tokenizes your stake, allowing users to use their staked near as a NEP-141 token, called stNEAR. stNEARs represent staked NEAR. The amount of stNEAR you hold is automatically incremented each epoch when staking rewards are paid.
-
What is the $META token?
The Meta Pool contract integrates an NEP-141 token $META, which is the projects governance token. It has no value other than holders of $META participate in the governance of the platform and get to decide on the behaviour of the platform. This will be part of the second phase once we have finished the Community and General Availability launch.
